Bring Me The Horizon have been drafted onto the Reading and Leeds lineup to fill the gap left by Slipknot's recent cancellation. Well, sort of...

''We are opening the bill on those days not directly replacing Slipknot in their headline slot,'' clarifies frontman Oli Sykes laughing. ''Imagine what would happen if we played their set, we would last five seconds before getting bottled off the stage by thousands of pissed off punters. We were thinking of coming out in Slipknot outfits but I think that would be too many people's worst nightmare, I doubt it would go down well.''

Bring Me The Horizon will be on at midday Friday in Leeds and midday Sunday in Reading.
