Biffy Clyro Were Too Honest
The band tell Rock Sound that they were too honest with last album 'Puzzle'.
In the latest issue of Rock Sound Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil talks about how difficult it was to explain the lyrical themes of last album 'Puzzle'.
"Yeah, I think, to be honest, it was my fault or mistake for being too honest about the lyrics when 'Puzzle' came out, being a bit too honest in the first place when people were asking initially, and then two years later people were still talking about it," he reflects. "I think there was a point where it was like, 'Well, I need to keep a bit of the lyrics to myself and also not make the listener's mind up for them on what the songs are about. Hopefully we won't have that problem this time."
