Bedroom Jam Bands Hit The Road
Eight bands selected from this season's Red Bull Bedroom Jam hit the road for the Summer festival season, first stop Download 2010!
After sixteen weeks of live webcasts beamed straight from the bedrooms of young up and coming bands, this year's Red Bull Bedroom Jam has come to a close and the eight bands going through to the next stage have been announced, they are as follows:
Sacred Betrayal
You and What Army
This Is Devine
Never Means Maybe
No Mean City
Stand Up Guy
Heights
Hearts Under Fire
Sacred Betrayal topped the Buzz Radar chart and have secured themselves a place on the Bedroom Jam festival tour.
The next seven bands have all been chosen by the expert judging panel that includes; lead singer of Fightstar Charlie Simpson, Vice President of Live Nation Andy Copping and Becky Sugden from The Agency.
You and What Army, This is Divine, Never Mean Maybe, No Mean City, Stand Up Guy, Heights and wildcard choice Hearts Under Fire will be playing at Download Festival this weekend on the first step of the Bedroom Jam festival tour. After Download the bands will then be heading to Underage, T in the Park, Hevy and Sonisphere with each band in with a chance of winning a two week recording session at Red Bull’s brand new, state of the art studio in London with a top producer as well as a UK wide tour. Not bad at all!
