BayonetsBayonets recently released their second album, an 8/10 peach if ever there was one. Recorded by Futures' Ant West it was a fine record from a band set for greater things...

...who had, a couple of months prior, announced they were splitting up and so 'Bayonets' would be their suicide note. How annoying is that?! Great band, great record... no chance of seeing them play it live or wondering what joys they'd come up with next.

But now they've put the whole thing up for download right here via Bandcamp. It's one of those pay-what-you-like dealies (hang on, that's a great idea! How come no one's thought of that bef... oh) so you can pay nothing if you like or, alternatively, you can pay real, actual money if you think the band deserve it. The 30 people who pay the most for the record before December 20 will get a merch bundle sent to them for free so if you're looking for Christmas presents for the whole family then this might just be the most important news item you read all day.
