Avenged SevenfoldTests to determine the cause of death for Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan have proved inconclusive thus far.

Yahoo News is reporting that "the coroner's office [have] ordered toxicology, microscopic and laboratory tests to help determine why Sullivan died. It's expected to take several weeks to get the results of the tests."

In the meantime members of the rock community have been offering their condolences for the loss of life. God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle said "this is a a true tragedy, and he will be missed greatly," Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden said "I'm deeply saddened by the loss of our friend," and Shadows Fall vocalist Brian Fair said that "The Rev was truly one of a kind. No one threw it down quite like he did. He will be missed terribly. May he rest in peace."

Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan was 28 when he died and Avenged Sevenfold were in the process of writing their fifth album.
