Avenged Sevenfold Drummer Found Dead In His Home
Avenged Sevenfold drummer The Rev has passed away in his Huntingdon Beach home. He was 28.
Avenged Sevenfold drummer The Rev has, according to reports, passed away in his Huntingdon Beach home. The band posted the following simple but heartfelt message on their Myspace page:
"It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time."
Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.

James Owen Sullivan was only 28 when he passed away, early reports indicate that he died of natural causes. Avenged Sevenfold were in the process of writing their fifth album and finalising their production team when they were struck with this tragedy.
