Toxicology tests have confirmed that Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan died after an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol.

Toxicology tests have confirmed that Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan died after an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol.

Rolling Stone have spoken to Orange County Deputy Coroner Mitchell Sigal who said that the tests indicated that Sullivan died as a result of suffering "acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Diazepam/Nordiazepam and ethanol."

The tests also confirm that the Avenged Sevenfold drummer had an enlarged heart which could have played a role in his passing.
