Angels & Airwaves Prepare To Release Love

Tom Delonge tells Rock Sound about the band's inspirational new album.

“The idea that everyone is lost and alone as the world crumbles and falls apart, I think is something everyone has felt as some point in their life. As they grow up and look around them there is a lot of strife and War everywhere that doesn’t seem to go away.”

So said Tom DeLonge, frontman with US rockers Angels And Airwaves (and guitarist of Blink-182) of their forthcoming third album ‘Love’ and the conceptual driving force behind it.

First single ‘Hallucinations’ was released in December through the band’s own social networking site Modlife, with the follow up full length and feature film of the same name set to drop on Valentines day.

Recording started back in January 09 and Tom found exploring the themes of the album compelling.

“We wanted to make our band very ambitious and we wanted to push our band to create something inspirational!”
