Rock legends Aerosmith have announced they are reforming to play a European tour this summer.

The band's schedule includes a date at London's O2 Arena on June 15, it will be the first time the group have toured Europe in three years.

Frontman Steve Tyler said: "Back by popular demand, with more spit and fire than ever before, we're coming across the pond and parting the waters as we go!"

Aerosmith will also be one of the headline acts playing at this year's Download Festival which takes place at Donington Park from 11-13 of June.
