A Day To Remember Come Out Swinging At Download
"Download holds no fear for us" say the genre-bending metal-punkers
Metal-punk crew A Day To Remember, making their second appearance at Download in a row, are sure their polarising sound will go down well at the traditionally harder-edged festival.
Frontman Jeremy McKinnon said: "Does Download hold any fear for us? We don't really think about it, we just play what we always play. People have always responded to it. We've played two years in a row and it's awesome to be asked to play again."
Of who he's most excited about seeing, however, the singer answered in line with many punters.
"I'm really excited to see AC/DC, I mean that's a band I never thought I'd see and here we are, so it's going to be awesome. To be honest there aren't many other bands I'd want to see or at least I don't know of any; when we get to festivals we just turn up in the morning, look at the schedule and go, 'Holy shit! I want to go see As I Lay Dying!'"
