The Rasmus
Rock Sound catches up with The Rasmus as they prepare to return to the UK.
The Rasmus are heading to the UK for a one off London show on February 24th at the Islington O2 Academy. Rock Sound decided it was time for a catch up with vocalist Lauri Ylönen to find out what the band have planned for 2009:
The Rasmus, long time no speak. How is life and Finland in general, must be flipping cold and dark this time of year?
''Finland is amazing," admits Ylönen. ''We are skating on the frozen sea.''
How come we only get one UK show from you? Are you playing hard to get?
''Absolutely. This is just a little foreplay. We'll come back to make love to you in Spring.''
What can we expect from the show?
''Sweat, wigs and guest appearances.''
What do you have planned for 2009?
''We'll be touring the whole year, it is the fifteenth birthday for The Rasmus in November.''
What are you listening to at the minute?
''Our bassist Eero is playing a thumb piano which he just bought from Zurich.''
We miss you, do you miss us?
''Veeeeery much, so see you soon.''
