Some bands we love because they do precisely what we want – Dillinger, on the other hand, are special because we (or they, for that matter) haven’t the faintest idea where they’re going next. Their staggering new album ‘Option Paralysis’ is an aural riot, expertly blending everything from ten-fingered tech metal insanity to Latin lounge swing while retaining that indescribable spark that makes Dillinger who they are. One of the world’s most endlessly entertaining (and challenging) bands, they’re our Band Of The Week for various reasons but none more important than the fact they rock like utter bastards.
