The Blackout's new album 'The Best In Town' is out this week and Rock Sound can see no worthier wearer of the Band Of The Week crown.

The band's second record is tighter than ever and the sextet have upped the ante with solid effort and unrivalled energy. Sinking razor-sharp hooks deep into your skin, they pound out potential single after single, with growling attitude, slick melodies and punchy choruses.
