LeathermouthWhile My Chemical Romance take a well-earned earned rest from touring and Gerard Way prepares for impending fatherhood, Frank Iero has another agenda. The guitarist is back with his new band, the ferocious LeATHERMØUTH and anyone expecting the pop-hooks of MCR will certainly be in for a shock.

“If you’re a fan of My Chemical Romance and check out LeATHERMØUTH because of that, you’re going to be very disappointed,” says Iero in the latest issue of Rock Sound.

Their debut album ‘XO’ (out Jan 28 via Epitaph) is nasty blend of urgent, aggressive hardcore that grabs you straight by the jugular and doesn’t let go.

Expect some UK dates from LeATHERMØUTH later this year, we’ll keep you posted.
