“These guys embody a lot of what Holy Roar is about – they’re a duo with bass, drums and effects pedals – there’s hardcore noise and OTT energy but there’s songwriting chops as well. They’re touring ridiculously hard and they’re a really good band.”

“This is a Deftones cover that I think shows how good this band are – they’ve taken a really well-known rock song and made it their own.”

“This was the opening song on their EP on Holy Roar – It’s probably the most important song we’ve ever released, on our biggest-selling release. I chose a live version to show how much faster they play it compared to the regular version – it’s 20 seconds shorter than the recorded version without cutting anything else out.”

“We’re releasing this in a month or two as a six-song 7” record – it was recorded by the drummer of Maths and features people who’ve done loads for the Norwich DIY scene. They combine influences from hardcore to screamo to powerviolence – they’re trying to push things forward I think.”
