Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus is a busy man, but he's not too busy to tell Rock Sound about the records currently keeping his ears busy on the Honda Civic Tour in the US.

Blink's new album 'Neighborhoods' is out now, for more on the band and their comeback pick up Rock Sound Issue 153 sharpish!

Just Discovered: The Naked And Famous 'Passive Me, Aggressive You'
"Just yesterday I got into this band, I don't know why it took me so long to find out about them but I've had the album a day and I've already listened to it five times."

Always On: The Joy Formidable 'The Big Roar'
"I absolutely love The Joy Formidable record. I think it's amazing. One of the people I work with on my Fuse TV show is really up on all the new artists, his name is Kevin and I always go to him to get recommendations as he always seems to know about great bands first. He put me on to Best Coast, Matt And Kim and more too, he has good taste."

Pre Show Listening: Wolves In The Throne Room 'Celestial Lineage'
"This is probably the heaviest thing I've listened to this year. It's definitely the kind of record I need to be in a certain mood for, but damn that album's got a lot of power in it. I listen to stuff like this or MInistry before I go onstage each night. If not them then Fucked Up."

Post Show Listening: Dom 'Family Of Love'
"The other side of playing live I usually listen to more mellow stuff like this or the new Girl album, it's good mood music."

When Guitars Aren't Required: Skrillex 'Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites'
"In terms of electronic music, like everyone I'm listening to Skrillex. I really like it."

Big Rock Record: Blink-182 'Neighborhoods'
"Where does the new Blink record sit? With a few exceptions I don't think there have been a lot of great rock records this year, overall I think we've lacked that and I hope the new Blink album can fill that void."
