Basement Announce Ten-Year Anniversary Edition Of ‘Colourmeinkindness’

Basement’s seminal emo classic is ten years old, and the band are celebrating with a new vinyl pressing and some alternative tracks.

It’s been a decade since Basement released their second album, ‘Colourmeinkindness’, a beautiful, rousing, astonishing display of alt songwriting that has aged like wine and still sends shivers coursing up the spine.

And to celebrate, the band are releasing a new vinyl pressing of the record.

It will be dropping on October 21 via Run For Cover Records and looks a lot like this:

Alongside the original tracklisting, the record will also feature four new reworkings on tracks.

The first to drop is ‘Breathe’, which has been transformed from a slow-burning romantic number into a jangly indie rock banger.

It’s a testament to Basement’s songwriting craft and the strength of the foundations built into these tracks.
