Blessthefall drummer Matt Traynor checks in from the opening shows of Impericon's Never Say Die Tour 2012!
Whats up Rock Sound?! This is Matt, drummer for blessthefall. I will be posting mini updates every 48-72 hours from our current tour in Europe, the Never Say Die 2012 Tour! We are only a few hours away from playing in Paris tonight, but let me tell you about our journey so far.
After two weeks of preparation for tour, we boarded our first flight in Phoenix at 10am and headed for Detroit. From there we were off to Frankfurt and a few hours later we finally landed in Europe where it all begins. It was probably one of our easiest journeys overseas that we have had in seven years! We grabbed our bags, found our bus and picked our bunks. The lineup is huge, consisting of bands from all over the globe. We Came As Romans, ourselves, Stick To Your Guns, For The Fallen Dreams, Obey The Brave, At The Skylines, The Browning and At Dawn We Rage make up the roster. Everyone on tour seems really chill, it should be a good 22 shows out here.
First show in Wurzburg, Germany was awesome. A huge room packed with kids was a great way to start this tour off. Getting comfortable with rental gear is always a hassle, but it's something we are used to by now. Show two in Stuttgart and we are already getting more comfortable with the gear. Not only was it a special show because the crowd rocked and the show was raging, but last time we were in Stuttgart we took a photo of Beau jumping off the stage and made it into a tshirt. So FYI to everyone, if you get the "Stage Dive Till You Die" red t-shirt, the photo was taken in Germany haha.
Make sure to keep checking in with Rock Sound and @blessthefall for the links to all of these updates! Thanks for all the love and support! See you all soon.
