The lie in was definitely worth it! I woke up at the wonderful hour of 1.00pm and realised it's Mother's Day on Sunday so I really need to get a card in the post!

My mum is convinced that we deliberately book tours during her 'special days' which is basically mothers day and her birthday. To be fair, I think I have been away for every one over the past two years. Sorry mum!

So Manchester today. We recently achieved what we like to call 'Manchester Academy bingo' which is basically being able to tick off that we've played all 4 rooms. Doing the Club Academy with Thrice in January completed the set!
Tonight we're in Academy 2, we played this room once before with The Used and it was great fun.

We started playing a little game involving writing out our setlists on the lostprophets shows last week and it's now continued on to this tour. We basically pick a theme or topic and have to change a word in each song to fit that theme. We write out each others and no one sees theirs until we're on stage so if you ever see us chuckling on stage it's probably because we've just looked at a hilarious name on the set list. Jack was in charge of mine tonight and the theme was 'pop music' Check out the photo below!

Manchester usually makes for a cracking show and tonight was no different, I came off stage with my lip, hand and elbow bleeding so it was a pretty messy one.

We're off to a club called Satans Hollow now to let our hair down.
