Suicidal Tendencies 'You Can't Bring Me Down'
A thrash epic which reminds me of long summers skateboarding* as a teenager.
*(Carrying a skateboard around and watching skate videos that always had sick thrash soundtracks.)

Lightyear 'Kid Dynamite'
Pure joy expressed through music - one of the UK's most-missed bands with Lew from the unbeatable Captain Everything! providing the laughs. If you weren't a part of the homegrown punk scene at the beginning of the decade here's your chance to catch up.

Anthrax ‘Caught In A Mosh’
I literally discovered ‘Among The Living’ last week and have fallen head over heels for the bastard. ‘Caught In A Mosh’ is sheer thrash brilliance. When I listen to it I drive faster.

Bars of Gold 'Heaven Has A Heater'

Hearts Under Fire 'It's Not Me, It's You'
Been loving this track from these Surrey all-girl punk rockers since getting their recent 'Letters EP'. Currently doing the festival rounds in the Red Bull Bedroom Jam stage - i predict big things for this lot if this song is anything to go by.

Anberlin 'Younglife'
Massively overlooked band, this is the best song from their last album 'New Surrender'. It's a real summery song, and the lyrics are quite reminiscent of the days before having a full-time job. I've been listening to this song a lot recently.
