Well 2009 was indeed a year of great music! That's an undeniable fact, unless of course you happened to witness the tragedy that was UB40 just before Christmas (unfortunate Jen, unfortunate)...

Anyway, for those of you with a more sophisticated musical palette, here's a selection of photographs filled with general rock and roll debauchery to whet your appetite for 2010.

And what better place to start than with Green Day. Because, quite frankly, they don't come much bigger than that...

Here I am in Brick Lane with Mike from Green Day, who appears to be emulating the fashion of style god Elton John.

And again with writer Oli Robertson and Tre Cool.

My Passion.

Haha!

Er...? Obligatory devil horns.

The Computers can always be relied on for livening up an evening. Here is Aidan in The Cockpit, Leeds.

Rinoa at Damnation Festival.

And here's Sam from Outcry Collective, who following a Juliette Lewis gig, opts for fine dining with Subway and lager. Yum.

Steel Panther

Lexxi from Steel Panther and Ben from Glamour Of The Kill. The shocker.

Portuguese band Men Eater played a great gig in support of Sights And Sounds at the Underworld.

Speaking of which, here is Joel Neufeld of Sights And Sounds.

And Andrew Neufeld...

More nights out...

The Hickey Underworld

Something for the ladies! Holy State.

YES!

Guilfest

Fei Comodo, Rob and Mark.

Pearl Jam.

Technically a few years old but Skunk Anansie are back.

Sweethead.

Just the kind of sexual harassment that ensues daily from Jen.
