Woah, my first festival...I just drank everything, seriously, I was grey and sweaty for weeks afterwards.

I don't remember much of my friends being there, I remember loads of strangers and throwing a lemon with a face drawn on it at some drummer guy and it exploding over his cymbals.

All weekend I was trying to perfect sneaking alcohol into the main bit and found out the best way is with a "decoy can", I just had one they were meant to find and once they found that they let you in! I don't recommend any of that though! They'll probably just give you a Hulk Hogan triple festival suplex now or something.

I'd planned to go see Deftones but was so drunk that I got confused with The Bluetones, I turned up and thought what the fuck?! I did manage to catch QOTSA who were mental in one of the smaller tents, Nick Oliveri played naked as well.

Man, all I ate for the whole weekend was bacon and cheese panini's and it wrecked my guts (think silly string). I'm pretty sure i fell asleep in some massive muddy ditch for a few hours before someone moved me on, or maybe I fell into the toilet and repressed the memory! ...naah ... IDIOTZ 4 LYF.

Castrovalva play Reading and Leeds 2011 on the BBC Introducing Stage. About that licence fee...
