Metal and comedy doesn’t always make Bad News or Spinal Tap! We’ve just seen Andrew O’Neill’s Totally Spot-On History Of British Industry, which may sound like a lesson in Luddites, ploughing and welding – but is a steam-powered, innovative mix of metal and humour. I won’t spoil it for you, but if you see this guy in a town near you, go and effin’ see him. Not only does he like all our fave bands (Mastodon, High On Fire, etc…) but his show is hilarious and if you’re lucky, you may even catch his support act, The Men That Will Not Be Known For Nothing, the steam-powered duo with musical tales from history. Nice.
