Last Day! We are gonna miss the Throats boys. They are dudes. But that gypsy girl has disappeared, when I asked about her they all looked shifty and left the room. Alex told me she left in the night and if I mentioned it again he'll cut me, haha! Dudes.

The Plug in Sheffield is a pretty cool venue. Almost made us forget about the dreadful black cloud-like hangovers floating over our very souls. Nearly did a sick carrying Ben's amp in.

Our dressing room has a TV in it...Living large bitches! Got a fruit bowl too, class. Watched the Uruguay/Germany match which in my eyes is the real world cup final.

Good friends came to see us today including Ryan from Errander and GU Medicine (who did vocals on the 1st track off Widow Country), Jo, Andy, Rox and Rik from Errander and The Lock & Keys. A couple of the Lavotchkin women also attended which was lovely. We drank at a cool bar with about a million different types of ciders, Maddi (my girlfriend) bought a super strong cherry cider that smelt of vinegar and tasted like vodka. Genius.

Lots of canny young men in bands here today. There were some pretty awesome shapes thrown during our set and we rocked out like mutha-fuckers even though our joints and muscles no longer work properly. We are old and unfit, this three weeks have nearly killed us. Our own fault though as I'm sure we would feel better if we were only drinking pints of mineral water.

Throats closed the tour in crushing style before the venue filled with ravers. That riff in Black Thursday is definitely one of my favourite things in the world. This tour truly has been awesome and we can't wait to get back on the road. Back to work for all of us now. Oh the joy.

Today we listened to Old Crow Medicine Show, Coliseum, Pissed Jeans and Austin Lucas.
