So we woke up pretty rough from the night before in our friend Julia's 10th floor flat facing the open blue sea. Collapsing on her balcony in not so much clothing seemed the best way to sober up.

There's something quite liberating about exposing yourself to the sea...Can't describe what like, though I know we're into it. Anyway, slowly but surely we got ourselves sorted and headed down to the van so we could head into Brighton for some breakfast before we set off for London. The JCQ offered to meet us in town and guide us to the venue avoiding the congestion charges which was real cool of them.

An English breakfast and bass pedal shopping later we were off on our travels once again. We got to The OId Blue Last in London and already there seemed to be quite a few people waiting around for the show. We'd heard really good things about how many people were coming tonight, so we were pretty excited from the outset. We loaded all our stuff in, sound checked and naturally began drinking as usual.

To cut a long story short, the show was immense and the venue was absolutely rammed to the point that people couldn't get in. Easily the best London show we've ever played and massive props to our good mates Jago and Eugene for inciting the mass carnage during our set.

After the show we headed back to the pub we'd been staying at in Aldgate for a lock in. An awesome end to an awesome night. Honestly, massive thanks to everyone who came out to watch us in London. You've provided us with some priceless memories!

Keeping the van stereo still going in the extreme heat today was Refused, The Night Marchers, Hot Snakes, Converge and The Suicide File.
