Lavotchkin Tour Diary Day Fifteen: Leeds

Another day, another strange story from the Lavotchkin tour blog!

We had a gap day yesterday back home. It was totally cool getting our beds back for the night and helped us re-charge for the last half of tour.

Anyways we were heading for Leeds today and were a little worried as there was a bit of a show clash tonight as Punch and Comadre were playing the same night with a load of Leeds bands. The chance to see either band play in the UK again is very slim and we knew that a lot of friends were going to that show instead. Our fingers were crossed that some would turn up to ours.

We got to the show, loaded in and chilled backstage drinking all the free beer we could get our hands on. To our surprise though the show was actually quite busy and went really well which we were super stoked about. Massive props to everyone who came out! The show was real fun and Throats were intense as ever this evening. After the show though we did walk in the dressing room to see Throats having what looked like a really laid back circle jerk. When asking what the fuck was going on, we were informed it was a new version of soggy biscuit. The sound of 5 guys casually wanking at the same time is a pretty weird one I've gotta say. They didn't seem to mind us being there though which was funny.

We packed our stuff up and chilled with friends before heading back to Newcastle for the night as we were playing Middlesborough tomorrow. All in all a good night!

Tunes rocking the van today were Wolves In The Throne Room, Craft, Against Me!, Trainwreck and At The Gates.
