We got up bright and early for the journey to stoke. Before we set off Mark Throats full on robbed me of my manhood on Fifa 10. I have sworn revenge and I'll never be Man City against Chelsea again. It just doesn't work.

We arrived at Harry's Bar to find Black Mass sat drinking outside with friends, they were well on the way to partying. After loading in and buying booze from an offy for later most of us sat glued to the Raoul Moat saga. It is an absolutely sad story, just another desperate moron with a gun that the prison system seems to have twisted even worse. I couldn't believe it when Gazza was bought in, we all kept waiting for the punchline. It never came. Only up here could a drunken ex-footballer try to help with a tense Police stand off with lager, chicken and a fishing rod.

Black Mass slayed tonight. Even without a bassist they were heavy as shit. They are also good guys and funny party dudes. Would love to do something with them in the future. The show was fairly chaotic with Alex Throats finishing covered in a plethora of different drinks. Funtimes!

After load out we headed to Barnsley, met a friend at a canny indie bar in Barnley, drank jager and met someone whose dad is a professional Rod Stewart look alike. Then we headed to a fairly dodgy rock/goth club. The shots were highly questionable sours yet when you are pissed you don't think twice about downing luminous chemicals. I danced to Steel Panther with Danny from Antares, by danced I mean forced him to stand uncomfortably in front of me while I flailed about like a dickhead.

After the best pizza and chips in years, more beer and rum at Jase and Danny's house we hit the hay waiting for the toxic hangovers and furry teeth in the morning.

This day we have been mostly listening to Young Widows, Curtis Stigers And The Forest Rangers, Crocus and William Elliott Whitmore.
