Day Seven: Friday 12th February, London

It's never easy keeping your mouth shut all day and literally not making a noise for twelve hours. You feel rather detached. But at least it gets me out of doing interviews and answering the same questions over and over again! After opting for the notepad and paper to express myself when needing to converse with more than a yes or no (thumbs up, thumbs down) I ditch it for technology. We all know that setting on the computer where you type something and you get the computer voice to say it? (Steven Hawkins style) cue an onslaught of immature musings 'Rory, can you pass me the bread you bollock gobbling goon bandit' etc.

Like most important shows, this one had its fair share of hitches with keyboards breaking, microphones and microphone stands getting lost in the crowd and guitars being 'rockstar-hissy-fitted'. The vibe was incredible though and the crowd was so loud! We recorded the show for a possible future DVD or online videos, can't wait to see what it looks like. Felt well sorry for the cameraman who was operating as 'pitcam', he was literally right in the thick of the action and is probably bruised all over! We managed to get the crowd to do a circle pit around him being the epicentre so that should look slick!

All the shows have been cracking and once again we felt privileged to have such dedication and passion coming straight back at us from the crowds. It was an honour touring with our friends in The King Blues, hearing their tunes before we head on stage always put us in such a great mood. Rolo Tomassi also did a sterling job of warming up the crowd and getting everyone pumped. Thanks to anyone that came down to a show and thank you for reading our tour blog!

Rock Sound note: Check out some shots from the show below courtesy of Ian Hunter, cheers for the blogs Rou. Nicely!
