Well, what a start to the second day. Waking up achy and sunburnt, breakfast down in the press area was a strained affair due to the coffee machine’s refusal to work.

Aside from the agitated caffeine deprived press though, Saturday brought with it more great bands, including the mighty Slipknot!

Once again Jen and Faye were in the thick of the action. And to prove it, here’s a handy picture of Jen looking extremely pensive while interviewing Clown before their headline slot.



And here she is again looking all fresh-faced and hygienic with Kodish from Pendulum.



After realising that Man Raze was made up of a former Sex Pistol and a Def Leppard member, we thought it was only fair to grab the legends and talk about all things Download. Here’s Faye looking like Penny Crayon gone off the rails.



Suicide Silence proved interesting interviewees, but were scaredy cats when it came to braving one of the rides later that evening. See, here they are shitting themselves…



It wasn’t all work, work, work though, as the Download partying got underway that evening. There were no bum pyramids, but here are some other photos:
