Frontman Matty Healy revealed the news onstage at TRNSMT festival in Glasgow this weekend (July 09), saying “So, on Saturday at Reading and Sunday at Leeds in celebration of 10 years of our debut album, The 1975 will be playing that album in full in support of our good friend Lewis Capaldi. If you’ve got tickets, good for you. If you haven’t, go and get them. We’ll see you there.”

The band’s self-titled album features the singles ‘Sex’, ‘Robbers’, ‘The City’, ‘Chocolate’, ‘Heart Out’ and ‘Girls’ and reached No.1 in the UK album chart back in 2013. It has since been certified 2x platinum.

Taking place between August 25-27, other artists on the Reading & Leeds festival lineup include You Me At Six, Nothing But Thieves, Sleep Token, Chase Atlantic and Don Broco alongside headliners The Killers, Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, Sam Fender and Foals.
